Why is it always so difficult to buy gifts for guys??

I never knew what to buy my boyfriend for Christmas. I had no clue! All I was 100% sure about was that I didn’t want to buy underwear or socks. I wanted my gift to show that I was thoughtful, tasteful yet fun, without being too much. Ideal girlfriend, you know?

What a headache.

Is it too much if I get him a watch? Shoes? Should I get a shirt? Maybe not. My brother never wore the one I got him last Christmas.

Agggh!

I ended up in the endless loop of indirect questions, checking what he likes on social, searching on Google and Amazon for gifts, and scrolling Instagram for ideas. I was stuck.

So, I thought what I’d like and started crafting a little package filled with memories, little notes, hearts and chocolate. Only to throw it away few hours later, because it would be “too romantic” and “silly”

Usually I ended up pushing it so late that even Amazon Prime couldn’t help me.

So a bottle of whiskey from Tesco it was. How original.

This year I did something radical and … asked the guys I know what they really want for Christmas.
